At Wellesbourne, our aim is to ensure every child can learn in a calm, safe and supportive environment. We teach and promote positive behaviour through our school values: Respect, Effort, Attend, Co‑operate and Honesty (REACH).
Children are expected to:
· Be polite, kind and respectful to others
· Follow instructions and behave safely
· Move calmly around school
· Look after property and the school environment
· Wear correct uniform
· Make behaviour choices that help everyone learn
Mobile phones are not allowed in school unless a Y5/6 child walks home; these must be handed to the office at the start of the day.
We use a clear, consistent Ladder of Success. Pupils begin the day on green and can move up or down depending on their choices.
Recently we had an assembly all about behaviour at our school. We re-capped our school values and talked about all of the ways we celebrate positive behaviour!
